Assist Financial Accountant - Nth Ryde - $65k + Super - Immediate Start!

Job Description:

• Min 3 Years within a Manaufacturing / Distribution Environ Circa $100m
• Strong Focus on Fixed Assets & Cashflow Management
• Degree Qualified - CPA studying or near completion

Our client is in a need of a professional Assistant Financial Accountant covering a full function role to start at their North Ryde Corporate Head Office. The position reports to the Financial Accountant where you will be working within a small dedicated team of Accounts personnel. 

Applicants applying must be degree qualified in Accounting; currently undertaking CPA programme / CPA qualified. Strong communication and proven leadership experience whilst working for a large manufacturing or distribution industry with a minimum turnover circa $100m.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities and duties are as follows:-

• Cash Flow Forecasting and management


• Intercompany journals and reconciliations


• Standing Journal processes


• Process General Ledger Journals


• Perform end of month balance sheet reconciliations


• Bank Reconciliations in AUD and Foreign Currencies - GBP, USD, EURO, SGD & HKD


• Stong focus on Fixed Asset Register


• Assist in the prepration of Yearly FBT schedules


• Assist with Half Yearly and Yearly Statutory reporting


• Assist with the preparation of company taxation


• Maintaining motor vehicle register and administrative tasks

 

The position requires a high attention to detail and covering all duties specified as above. A good sound knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office is a prerequisite.
