My client, who is known as a market leader in their chosen niche market within the manufacturing of pumps and accessories for the water and wastewater environment, is looking for an enthusiastic, focused Mechanical Engineer / Design Draftsperson.
The essential functions and major activities of this role include:
- Produce designs and drawings as required by engineers department
- Prepares design drawings and other drafting
- Designs system / parts including surface aerators, pump nad mixer installation accessories
- Manage and update drawing database
- Provide selection of pumps, mixers and accessories
- Troubleshooting technical issues
To be successful for this role you must have:
- 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Well developed skills in technical analysis and problem solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in 2D & 3D Drawing and AutoCAD 2010
- Well developed computer skills with the use of various word processing, engineering software, spreadsheets
- Due to the location of this role it is essential that you have your own transport.
