Our client is a market leader and a public lsited company who specialises in providing short term financial solutions to consumers in relational to rental / lease arrangements for a given timeframe. Currently a need for an experienced Collections Officer with consumer credit / mercantile experience is highly regarded for this role. Your responsible to complete your portfolio to ensure payments of outstanding accounts overdue from 1-30 days are paid through various means of payment facilities such as Credit Card, BPAY, Cash, Direct Deposit, arranging or negotiating Promise to Pay and Partial Payments. The role consists of a strong natured person who is disciplined in high payment returns and collections experience utilising a Dialler system. Diplomatic and hardship collections experience is an important factor where at times you will need to use reverse pshycology, empathy and a good understanding of human behaviour for commitment to settle overdue amounts. 5 Day working week Monday - Friday (8.30am to 5pm) No late shifts are required for this position.
